Overview

About Company
Aeyesafe is a B2B AI senior monitoring system startup company.

Problem

Elderly care nursing homes face an imbalance in caregiving ratios, with 1 caregiver responsible for up to 15 residents. Outdated tools and technologies further reduce caregiver efficiency, making it difficult to provide timely and effective care.

Alert Ticketing System Design: Pop Up Ticket, Detailed Ticket Info, View History

Design System

When I began this project, there was no existing design system. Considering it's a complex B2B platform with extensive information to be delivered, our team spent significant time to develop a design system. This system has helped us maintain UI consistency and improve design efficiency.

Impact

Our ultimate goal is to simplify caregivers' work in a digital and effective approach. We established measurement metrics and tested the dashboard and report tools. I made revisions based on feedback, and the final design is presented above. The alert ticketing system and setting features are still in development, but we've received a lot of positive feedback on the current prototype. The team is currently seeking more participants. Feel free to contact me if you're interested!

Usability testing scenarios, transcripts, and feedback

Dashboard -> View Individual Live Status

+34 %

Task Completion Rate

-18 %

Task Completion Time

We tested various versions of the dashboard design, altering section layout, information density, graph types, and color contrast. This led to a significant improvement in task completion rate, increasing from 62% to 96%, and a reduction in overall task completion time by approximately 16 seconds.

Group Management -> Report System

+36 %

User Satisfaction Rate

-24 %

Task Completion Time

We significantly improved user satisfaction by using a minimal and straightforward design layout, reducing the number of clicks needed to generate a report. Satisfaction rates increased from 67 to 87 (out of 100), resulting a 36.9% increase.

Reflection & What's next

Embracing Design Critiques Constructively

In the design community, we're a tapestry of creative minds, each with our own vision, all aiming toward the shared objective of outstanding product design.Working with a team of designers taught me to value design critiques as essential feedback, learning to give and receive them without personal bias and emotional feeling.

Multifunctional Roles in a Startup Environment

I worked in UX and UI design, project management, and even a bit of front-end development. This was a valuable chance to understand the interconnectedness of various roles and their individual contributions to our collective project goals.

Future Design Worlds with Emerging AI

As designers, it's becoming clear that we need to keep up with how AI is reshaping the world. Embracing AI is becoming a significant part of our job in the future. In my own experience, just as Aeyesafe integrates traditional senior care with AI , I see the real power in understanding AI and deliver design to create better user experiences.

The rest of the beta version of Aeyesafe has been dispatched for usability examination, anticipating a commencement in the beginning of 2024, as the constant evolution of front-end and back-end literacies continues. Visit https://www.aeyesafe.com for additional enlightenment.
